In this webinar hosted by Lean Frontiers, Bill discusses the themes from his book, "The Heart and Soul of Manufacturing", and the ethical side of Lean
Lean Leadership is an exercise in Humility, Servant Leadership, Stewardship, and Respect for People. The Lean leader recognizes thier role in the improvement process, not by enforcing their views of how things should be done, but by establishing clear goals for the organization and by fostering an environment whereby eliminating waste and improving processes is encouraged from everyone in the organization. The Lean leader also recognizes the responsibility that they bear for their employees, their community, and all of the stakeholders in the business. The Lean leader must have an understanding of business and what motivates people that goes beyond just monetary gain.
